Immune Peptides

Immune peptides are central to research on infection, inflammation and immune ageing. This collection includes the thymic peptides thymosin alpha-1 and thymulin, the human antimicrobial peptide LL-37 and the anti-inflammatory tripeptide KPV.

Thymic peptides
Thymosin alpha-1 is studied for T-cell maturation and toll-like receptor signalling. Thymulin is a zinc-dependent peptide studied for T-cell differentiation.

Innate immunity
LL-37 is the only human cathelicidin and appears in antimicrobial, biofilm and wound research. KPV is a small alpha-MSH fragment that targets inflammatory signalling.

In this collection: Thymosin Alpha-1 10mg, Thymulin 10mg, LL-37 10mg, Thymulin 100mg, KPV 10mg.

Is thymosin alpha-1 the same as TB-500?
No. TB-500 is based on thymosin beta-4 and studied for repair; thymosin alpha-1 is a separate immune peptide.

What is an antimicrobial peptide?
A peptide that is part of innate immunity and can disrupt microbial membranes. LL-37 is the main human example.
